POSITION INFO:

In this pivotal role, you will act as the primary bridge between the company and its network of brokers, driving both business development and operational excellence:

• Broker Relationship Management: Serve as the first point of contact for allocated brokers—handling inquiries, resolving complex issues, and proactively driving lead generation and business retention.

• Performance & Portfolio Monitoring: Track and optimize broker panel performance, ensuring key metrics are met (including maintaining lapse ratios and NTU ratios below 40%).

• Data, Insights & Reporting: Collate and analyze data to identify market trends, risks, and growth opportunities. Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports on panel activity.

• Workflow & Schedule Management: Design your monthly schedules independently, prioritizing high-impact tasks and streamlining office workflows to maintain service excellence.

What You’ll Need to Succeed

• Education: Grade 12 / Matric equivalent (Essential).

• Accreditation: FAIS Accreditation or a similar financial services qualification (Essential).

• Experience: 3–4 years of direct experience in sales and distribution within the long-term insurance industry (Essential).

• Background: Prior sales, marketing, or relationship management experience in banking, financial, or business services.

• Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Project management experience is a strong plus.

• Soft Skills: Exceptional stakeholder management, sharp problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to thrive in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
