Key Responsibilities

Manage daily bookkeeping tasks such as recording invoices, payments, receipts, and journal entries with accuracy and efficiency.
Maintain precise and detailed general ledger records and conduct reconciliations.
Prepare and submit monthly VAT returns to ensure compliance with tax regulations.
Conduct reconciliations of bank accounts, supplier statements, and debtors' accounts.
Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes to ensure timely and accurate completion of financial reports.
Support the preparation of management reports and financial statements, providing valuable insights and analysis.
Liaise with auditors and external accountants when necessary to ensure compliance with financial and company policies.

Minimum Requirements

Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
2-3 years of experience in bookkeeping or junior accounting role.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. Sage, Xero, or QuickBooks).
Strong Excel and computer skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy are essential for this role.
Good organisational and communication skills.
