SUMMARY:
DBN000345 - Bookkeeper - Durban CBD

Purpose of the Job:
To maintain accurate financial records and support efficient accounting, payroll, VAT, and reporting processes.

Required Qualifications:

Relevant bookkeeping/accounting qualification
3–5 years’ practical bookkeeping experience
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software

POSITION INFO:
Technical Competencies & Experience:

Maintain accurate accounting records through to Trial Balance
Manage debtors, creditors, invoices, and payments
Perform bank, supplier, and customer reconciliations
Assist with VAT submissions, payroll, and financial reporting
Maintain accurate financial documentation
Support month-end, year-end, cash flow, and general account administration
