An exciting opportunity has opened for a Bookkeeper to join a dynamic Group Finance team on a 6-month contract. This role is ideal for a detail-driven professional with strong finance and administration expertise, eager to thrive in a fast-paced, high-performing environment within the financial services sector.

As the Bookkeeper, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of core finance functions, from managing cashbooks and payments to supporting reconciliations, month-end processes, and audits.

As a Bookkeeper you will responsible for the following:

Schedule and prepare local and offshore payments for review and release.
Maintain and reconcile multiple cashbooks and petty cash.
Perform bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
Process basic accounting entries in the financial system.
Maintain and reconcile accounts payable and receivable subledgers.
Monitor cash requirements and manage surplus fund movements.
Assist with month-end and quarter-end close processes, journals, and accruals.
Prepare supporting documents for audits and regulatory purposes.
Provide ad hoc financial and administrative support to the Group Financial Manager.

Job Experience and Skills Required:
Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Bookkeeping.
3–5 years’ experience in a finance or administrative role (financial services preferred).
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central highly preferred.
Familiarity with accounting software such as Sage, SAP, or Pastel is an advantage.
