POSITION INFO:

Are you looking to make a tangible impact within a dynamic retail environment by ensuring financial accuracy and compliance? Our client, a well-established organization in Gauteng, dedicated to delivering excellent service in the retail sector, is seeking a competent Finance Administrator to support their financial operations and administrative functions.

What You'll Do:

Process and maintain accurate financial records using Pastel Accounting
Manage monthly payroll processing via Pastel Payroll, including PAYE and UIF submissions
Reconcile and maintain the cashbook regularly
Handle VAT administration and ensure SARS compliance
Manage debtors and creditors, including invoicing, payments, and account reconciliations
Submit documentation via SARS eFiling
Ensure CIPC compliance, including annual returns and company registration updates
Provide general administrative and personal assistant support to management
Handle correspondence, scheduling, and diary management
Maintain organized filing systems for financial and administrative records
Liaise with external stakeholders such as auditors, SARS, and CIPC

Requirements:

Solid working knowledge of Pastel Accounting and Payroll systems
Understanding of South African tax and statutory compliance requirements (VAT, PAYE, UIF)
Strong accounting and reconciliation skills
Excellent administrative and communication abilities
At least 2 years of relevant experience
