Bookkeeper

SUMMARY:
Our client is urgently looking for a Bookkeeper to join their company in Kew, Gauteng. Candidate must be able to do bookkeeping function to trial balance and have knowledge of Interbranch Transfers.

POSITION INFO:

Job Title: Bookkeeper

Location: Kew, Johannesburg

Salary Range: R 18 000.00 – R 25 000.00

Our client is urgently looking for a Bookkeeper to join their company in Kew, Gauteng. Candidate must be able to do bookkeeping function to trial balance and have knowledge of Interbranch Transfers.

The successful incumbent will be responsible for:

• All cashbooks to be captured on a daily basis
• Credit card payments to be allocated on date of payment
• All management fee invoices to be prepared by the 25th of the month and sent to relevant companies
• All management fee invoices to be paid by month end
• All other intercompany invoices to be done within the prescribed timeframes
• Payroll administration/management fee to be invoiced and pulled by the27th of each month
• Recovery charges to be completed by the 3rd working day after the 25th of each month
• Daily cashbook reconciliation of all transactions posted for the previous day.
• Monthly sign offs of cashbooks to be completed by COB on the 2nd working day of the following month after month end
• Credit card “bank accounts” to be printed and balances to be explained, together with bank recon
• All intercompany accounts to be reconciled monthly

Minimum qualifications and experience:

• Matric
• Formal bookkeeping qualification will prove advantage
• 5-7 years’ experience in Bookkeeping up to trial balance
• Living close to Kew, Johannesburg
• Able to handle up to 25 entities
