SUMMARY:
Are you a seasoned Bookkeeper with experience in the manufacturing industry? A leading industrial equipment supplier is looking for a Bookkeeper who is hands-on and proactive to join their team.

POSITION INFO:

As Bookkeeper you will be reporting to the Financial Manager and be responsible for:

The day-to-day management of all payment cycle activities
Updating and management of documentation, as well as ensuring the ISO standards for both international and local suppliers are met
Preparation of monthly VAT reconciliations, PAYE and submissions to SARS
Provide assistance with FEC''s and forex payments
Preparation of cash book and supplier invoices
Maintaining the fixed asset register
Supporting the Finance Manager with ad-hoc administrative tasks

Requirements:

5 - 8 years of experience as Bookkeeper within an accounting environment
Diploma/degree in Accounting
Experience in working with Pastel
Working knowledge and understanding of Forex contracts with banking institutions
Knowledge and application of SARS E-Filling
Knowledge and understanding of foreign currency creditors
Knowledge and understanding of Imports/ Exports
Own transport is essential
