POSITION INFO:

The Bookkeeper will be responsible for overall processing and account reconciliations across the full accounting function across multiple entities within the company. The successful candidate will ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial information and provide support to the finance team reporting directly to the Head of Operations & Finance.

The role requires a highly analytical and detail-oriented professional with strong accounting knowledge, experience in ERP systems, and the ability to work effectively under pressure within a deadline-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

As the Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for:

• Preparing monthly management accounts and financial reports for review.

• Reconciling all balance sheet accounts including inventory.

• Maintaining fixed asset registers and ensuring asset integrity.

• Performing daily bank processing and monthly bank reconciliations.

• Updating inventory counts, cost prices, and selling prices within ERP systems.

• Processing and reconciling intercompany balances and transactions.

• Ensuring financial data integrity across all ERP systems.

• Processing and reconciling debtor and creditor accounts.

• Maintaining accurate financial records and filing systems.

Minimum Requirements

• Financial Accounting Degree or equivalent qualification.

• Minimum of 5 years' Bookkeeping experience in a similar role.

• Proven experience with Sage Business Cloud.

• Advanced Excel skills.

• Shopify / E-commerce experience (advantageous)

• Strong understanding of accounting principles.

• Experience working with inventory and ERP systems.

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

• Effective communication and reporting skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
