POSITION INFO:

Company and Job Description:

Our client is a respected player in the industrial automation and motor control industry based in the East of Joburg, providing specialised solutions to customers across various sectors. They were established in the mid 90's and are a true proudly South African success story!

Key Responsibilities:

Manage customer invoicing and ensure timely and accurate billing.
Oversee and manage the debtors function, including collections and account management.
Build and maintain strong customer relationships through regular engagement.
Perform supplier reconciliations and resolve supplier queries.
Prepare and review general ledger reconciliations.
Lead and manage a small team of debtors, creditors and procurement.
Monitor outstanding accounts and implement effective collection strategies.
Ensure accurate financial record keeping and reporting.
Investigate and resolve account discrepancies.
Support operational management with financial and administrative processes.
Drive process improvements within the finance and administration functions.

Job Experience and Skills Required:

Education:

Minimum Matric.
Finance, Accounting, or Bookkeeping qualification will be advantageous.

Experience:

5-10 years' experience in a Bookkeeping or Finance Administration role.
Previous experience managing debtors and customer accounts.
Experience managing a team is essential.
Experience within a technical, engineering, manufacturing, or industrial environment will be advantageous.
