POSITION INFO:
A leading international technology company is looking for a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join its finance team. With a global footprint and engineering operations based in South Africa, the business is renowned for delivering cutting-edge automation solutions through innovation, precision, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

Process daily financial transactions, including receipts, payments, journals, and expense allocations.
Manage the full Accounts Payable function, ensuring suppliers are paid accurately and on time.
Perform bank, supplier, customer, and credit card reconciliations.
Investigate and resolve account discrepancies promptly and effectively.
Assist with VAT preparation and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
Maintain accurate, organised, and audit-ready financial records.
Support month-end close processes and assist with general bookkeeping activities.
Collaborate with the wider finance team to improve financial processes and reporting accuracy.

Job Experience and Skills Required:
Relevant qualification in Bookkeeping, Accounting, or Finance.
Minimum of 3 years' bookkeeping experience within a commercial environment.
Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
Experience working on ERP or accounting systems such as NetSuite, QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, or similar.
Sound understanding of Accounts Payable, bank reconciliations, balance sheet reconciliations, and VAT.
Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving abilities.
