Bookkeeper (Retail Environment)

We are looking for a detail-driven Bookkeeper to join a leading, high-volume retail environment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with numbers in a fast-paced, stock-driven business where accuracy and structure are key.

POSITION INFO:

Key responsibilities:

Full-function bookkeeping up to trial balance
Processing and reconciling supplier and customer accounts
Bank, cashbook, and balance sheet reconciliations
Assisting with month-end close and reporting support
Capturing and maintaining financial data accurately across systems
Supporting stock and inventory-related finance processes
Liaising with internal teams to resolve queries and ensure financial accuracy

Requirements:

Relevant accounting/bookkeeping qualification (Diploma or equivalent)
3+ years bookkeeping experience
Experience in a retail or stock-driven environment (strong advantage)
Strong reconciliation and attention-to-detail skills
Experience with accounting systems such as Sage, Pastel, SAP, or similar
Ability to work in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment
