Job Description: Boilermaker - Mining/Plant

Job Responsibilities:

• Assemble and mechanically join sheets, plates, tubes, pipes, and steel sections.
• Perform heat treatment processes on engineering metals.
• Maintain belt conveyor components.
• Attend to call-outs regarding breakdowns and provide timely solutions.
• Ensure that engineering installations are constructed according to agreed standards and specifications.
• Maintain engineering equipment according to agreed standards and schedules.
• Repair engineering equipment when required, ensuring compliance with standards.
• Contribute to a competent, positive, and motivated team environment.

Essential Qualifications:

• NQF 4 (National Senior Certificate or Grade 12 or Adult Senior Certificate).
• Completed formal Learnership program prior to obtaining a Boilermaker artisan trade certificate as recognized by the MQA.
• Valid Certificate of physical fitness.
• Ability to read and write in English & Afrikaans.
• Driver’s License required.
• Own transport required as the position necessitates standby duties.

Desired Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Boilermaker within a mining environment.
• Qualified with trade papers (section 13 or 26D).
• Shaft / Plant experience mandatory.

Salary & Benefits:
