Is seeking a skilled and experienced Boilermaker to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and repairing steel structures and mechanical components according to engineering drawings and specifications. This role requires a strong understanding of fabrication processes, welding techniques, and safe workshop practices.

POSITION INFO:

Key Responsibilities

• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and job specifications.
• Fabricate and assemble structural steel components, tanks, chutes, frames, and mechanical parts.
• Perform cutting, bending, rolling, and welding of steel using appropriate tools and machinery.
• Conduct quality checks to ensure components meet design and dimensional accuracy standards.
• Repair, maintain, and modify existing steel structures and plant equipment when required.
• Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental regulations within the workshop.
• Collaborate with engineers, welders, and fitters to ensure efficient workflow and project completion.

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent.
• Recognized Trade Test Certificate as a Boilermaker (Red Seal).
• Minimum 3–5 years’ experience as a Boilermaker in a manufacturing, mining, or heavy engineering environment.
• Ability to read and interpret fabrication and mechanical drawings accurately.
• Proficiency in various welding techniques (GMAW, SMAW, FCAW).
• Strong understanding of steel grades, tolerances, and fabrication standards.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and quality control systems.
