Billing Administrator

SUMMARY:
An exciting opportunity exists for a detail-oriented Billing Administrator to join a dynamic finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely billing, processing invoices, maintaining billing records, and supporting overall financial operations across multiple entities.

Job Description:

• Prepare and process accurate invoices across all entities within the Group
• Ensure billing is completed according to agreed timelines and deadlines
• Verify billing data and investigate discrepancies
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date billing records
• Perform billing reconciliations and investigate variances
• Assist with billing reports and supporting schedules
• Respond to billing queries from internal and external stakeholders
• Liaise with departments to ensure billing accuracy
• Maintain proper filing and documentation of billing records
• Support audit requirements by providing relevant documentation
• Capture and update information on billing systems
• Identify and support improvements to billing processes and efficiencies

• Minimum 2 years' experience in a billing or finance administration role
• Strong understanding of billing processes and basic accounting principles
• Experience with invoicing systems and reconciliations
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
• Strong numerical ability with exceptional attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage high volumes of transactions and meet deadlines
• Experience within a property or retail environment will be advantageous
• Experience with accounting or property management systems is beneficial

• Matric / Grade 12
• Relevant finance or accounting qualification advantageous
