Bar Supervisor

We are seeking a confident and service-driven Bar Supervisor to lead daily bar operations and support the wider Food and Beverage team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a busy environment, enjoys leading from the front and takes pride in delivering exceptional guest experiences.

POSITION INFO:
Minimum Requirements

• Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in a bar or beverage role within a hotel, restaurant or hospitality environment
  - Previous supervisory or leadership experience advantageous
  - Strong knowledge of beverages, cocktails, wines and bar service standards
  - Experience working in a 4 or 5-star hotel or high-volume environment preferred
  - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  - Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and public holidays
  - South African ID or valid work permit

• Oversee the daily bar operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service
  - Lead, train and motivate the bar team to deliver exceptional guest experiences
  - Ensure consistency in drink preparation, presentation and service standards
  - Monitor stock levels, place orders and manage stock control and wastage
  - Maintain cleanliness, organisation and compliance with health and safety standards
  - Assist in creating and updating cocktail menus and beverage offerings
  - Handle guest queries, feedback and complaints professionally
  - Work closely with the Food and Beverage team to enhance the overall guest experience
