Key Responsibilities

Record Financial Transactions: Accurately record daily financial transactions, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments into the general ledger.
Manage Accounts: Oversee accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments.
Reconcile Accounts: Regularly reconcile bank statements and financial records to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.
Prepare Financial Reports: Generate financial statements such as balance sheets and income statements, providing insights into the company''s financial health.
Maintain Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations, preparing necessary documentation for audits and tax filings.
Utilize Accounting Software: Proficiently use accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, FreshBooks) to manage financial data and generate reports.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Educational Background: A diploma or degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is often preferred.
Experience: Previous experience in bookkeeping or accounting is typically required, with a minimum of 1-3 years being common.
Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting is essential.
Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
