SUMMARY:
We are seeking a technically minded Technical Sales Consultant to support business development and deliver solution-based sales within the industrial automation and infrastructure sectors. This role suits someone who can comfortably bridge the gap between technical detail and commercial insight, while building strong, lasting relationships with clients across engineering and municipal environments.
The successful candidate will focus on identifying opportunities, developing tailored solutions, and guiding clients through systems related to telemetry, automation, and monitoring — translating complex requirements into practical, workable outcomes.

POSITION INFO:

Job Description:

Build and maintain strong client relationships while identifying new business opportunities within industrial and municipal sectors
Provide technical consultation and solution-based sales across telemetry, automation, and monitoring systems
Prepare technical proposals, quotations, and system recommendations aligned with client needs
Collaborate with engineering teams to develop practical, efficient, and cost-effective solutions
Conduct product demonstrations, technical presentations, and client site visits
Support project handovers and ensure a smooth transition from sale to implementation, keeping client satisfaction front of mind

Skills & Experience:

7–10 years’ experience in technical sales or hands-on engineering within industrial automation or infrastructure environments
Solid understanding of telemetry systems, PLC automation, and SCADA platforms
Knowledge of water and wastewater infrastructure systems
Exposure to CCTV and monitoring systems would be advantageous
Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills
Ability to interpret technical requirements and translate them into clear, practical solutions

Qualifications:

Diploma or Degree in Electrical, Electronic, or Mechatronic Engineering (or a related technical field)
Previous experience in technical sales or application engineering
