Our client in the information technology sector is looking for a driven Assistant Service Consultant to join their team.

POSITION INFO:
Minimum requirements:

3–5 years’ relevant experience within the utility's environment, preferably electricity or water
Practical experience working with utility billing platforms, prepaid solutions or related systems
Understanding of metering processes, tariff structures and utility account management
Strong customer service, analytical and problem-solving abilities
Ability to identify issues, investigate discrepancies and provide effective solutions
Good attention to detail with the ability to work accurately with financial and consumption data

Main duties:

Provide assistance to customers regarding utility accounts, billing enquiries and prepaid services
Capture, review and maintain smart meter information and meter reading data
Oversee customer accounts, outstanding balances, invoicing and credit-related activities
Track utility usage patterns and compile relevant consumption reports
Provide first-line assistance with system-related matters and customer enquiries
Liaise with clients to investigate and resolve billing, metering and service-related issues
Ensure utility information and account records are accurate and kept up to date
