Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the general ledger and maintain accurate financial records
• Perform balance sheet, bank, and credit card reconciliations
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
• Support financial audits and ensure compliance with internal controls
• Maintain the integrity of accounting records and financial reporting

• Prepare monthly management reports and financial presentations
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
• Monitor profit and loss performance and analyse variances
• Support VAT, tax compliance, and statutory reporting
• Provide financial insights to support business decisions

• Support, coach, and develop members of the finance team
• Assist with accounts receivable processes and controls
• Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Partner with operational departments to resolve finance-related matters
• Assist with finance projects and continuous process improvements

Job Experience and Skills Required:

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

• Minimum 1 year's finance or accounting experience
• Hospitality or hotel industry experience essential
• Exposure to financial reporting and month-end processes
• Previous experience supporting or mentoring team members advantageous

• Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Pastel experience highly advantageous
• Sage or Accpac experience beneficial
• Strong reconciliation and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment
• Proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and take initiative
