Minimum Requirements

Degree in Accounting
Completed articles highly advantageous
Minimum 5 years’ experience in a finance role
Experience in the telecommunications or technology industry highly advantageous
Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting and regulatory frameworks
Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems
Strong analytical, numerical and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present financial information to non-financial stakeholders

Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting and Analysis

Prepare monthly management accounts
Assist with the preparation of annual financial statements
Analyse financial data and investigate trends and variances
Assist the Head of Finance in preparing financial results and insights for the executive team and board

Operational Financial Management

Oversee accounts payable and receivable
Reconcile financial records and bank statements
Ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices, payments, and collections
Maintain strong financial controls, policies, and procedures

Regulatory Compliance and Governance

Ensure compliance with IFRS and telecommunications regulatory frameworks
Assist with external audits
Support tax compliance and financial governance processes

Cost Control and Expense Management

Identify cost optimisation opportunities
Monitor expenses and support budget management

Team Leadership and Stakeholder Engagement

Lead and mentor members of the finance team
Foster a culture of accountability, performance, and continuous improvement
Serve as a key finance contact for internal and external stakeholders
