A leading and rapidly growing telecommunications company based in Sandton is seeking an experienced Assistant Financial Manager to join their dynamic finance team. POSITION INFO:

Key Responsibilities

Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reports
Support the Financial Manager with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
Perform balance sheet reconciliations and ensure the integrity of financial data
Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities
Analyse financial performance and provide meaningful insights to management
Support audit processes and liaise with external auditors
Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies
Monitor cash flow and assist with treasury-related functions
Drive process improvements and enhance internal financial controls
Provide leadership and guidance to junior finance staff where required

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Completed Articles advantageous
3-5 years' post-articles or relevant finance experience
Strong knowledge of IFRS and South African tax legislation
Advanced Excel skills
Experience working in a telecommunications, technology, or fast-paced commercial environment will be highly advantageous
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Remuneration

R550,000 – R650,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
