Position: Assistant Breakfast Restaurant Supervisor
4* Hotel - Bantry Bay, Cape Town

POSITION INFO:
We are seeking a motivated Assistant Breakfast Supervisor to join the hotel’s Food & Beverage team. The successful candidate will support the Breakfast Supervisor in managing daily breakfast operations, ensuring exceptional guest service, high-quality food presentation, and smooth team performance.

Critical Criteria (Requirements)

• Previous experience in food and beverage supervision advantageous
• Basic knowledge of breakfast operations in hotels or large-scale food service
• Minimum 1–3 years’ experience in food and beverage, preferably in a supervisory or team leader role within a hotel or large-scale restaurant environment
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail and commitment to high service standards
• Must hold a valid South African ID

Key Competencies

Duties & Responsibilities

• Assist in overseeing daily breakfast service, ensuring efficiency and guest satisfaction
• Monitor service standards, food quality, and presentation
• Handle guest requests, feedback, and concerns promptly and professionally
• Supervise breakfast staff, including scheduling, training, and on-the-job guidance
• Motivate the team to maintain high standards of service and teamwork
• Support performance feedback and development of team members
• Monitor breakfast inventory levels and report shortages or discrepancies
• Ensure proper handling and storage of food and beverages
• Maintain strict adherence to hygiene, health, and safety regulations
• Collaborate with other F&B and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations
• Assist in problem-solving and service coordination during busy periods
• Live and promote the hotel’s values of Teamwork, Respect, Innovation, Accountability, Passion, and Integrity

Package on Offer
