SUMMARY:
Our client, a growing private school group with a good reputation has an opportunity available for an Assistant Brand Accountant to join their team on a 6 month contract. Only immediately available candidates will be considered as this is a contract position.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Qualification required:

Bcom / Btech / Accounting Diploma

Skills and experience required:

Previous experience in the education industry would be advantageous
Experience on SAGE would be advantageous
Basic knowledge of South African Tax Legislation
Ability to work in a highly pressurised environment

Job description:

Report to Finance Manager
Assist with preparation if budgets and forecasts
Assist with tracking of actuals vs budgets
Assist with tracking of brand financial performance
Reconcile GL monthly and annually
Assist with cashflow information
Assist with audits
Assist with tax
Prepare information for statutory return
Respond to financial queries from parents and other stakeholders
