The Role: Advertising Sales Account Manager

The Advertising Sales Account Manager is responsible for generating advertising revenue across a portfolio of print and digital media products. This role combines new business development, account management, media sales, and project coordination, ensuring advertising campaigns are delivered successfully from initial prospecting through to completion.

You will be responsible for managing the full sales cycle, developing long-term client relationships, identifying new commercial opportunities, and ensuring campaigns are delivered to a high professional standard while consistently achieving revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities

• 3+ years of advertising sales or media sales experience with a proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets and KPIs
• Generate new business opportunities and develop existing advertiser relationships
• Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation through to deal closure
• Present tailored print and digital advertising solutions aligned to client objectives
• Negotiate pricing and secure commercially beneficial agreements
• Develop revenue growth strategies for advertising campaigns and media projects
• Build and maintain strong relationships with advertisers, agencies, and commercial partners
• Manage advertising campaigns and publications from inception through to completion
• Coordinate with editorial, design, production, and other stakeholders to ensure successful campaign delivery
• Maintain accurate CRM records, sales forecasts, pipelines, and client communications
• Manage quotes, customer records, and sales administration processes accurately
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging advertising opportunities
• Assist with overdue account follow-ups and payment collection where required
• Participate actively in sales meetings and provide accurate pipeline updates

About You

• 3+ years of experience in advertising sales within a media sales environment
• Proven history of achieving and exceeding sales targets and performance KPIs
• Experience selling print and digital advertising solutions
• Strong new business development and account management capabilities
• Experience managing the full sales lifecycle from prospecting to close
• Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management skills
• Strong commercial awareness and negotiation abilities
• Experience using CRM systems to manage pipelines and sales activity
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
• Neutral English accent with clear and professional communication
• High attention to detail and strong administrative accuracy
• Global or UK market experience highly preferred
