Support administration, finance, data management, and business development activities within a growing business.

Location | Remote (Cape Town) | Remote | UK Working Hours (Monday to Friday) | R18,000 – R24,000 per month

Our client operates within the recruitment industry and is seeking an Administrative & Business Development Assistant to support its internal operations and business development activities.

This role combines administration, data management, finance administration and business development support, ensuring internal systems remain organised, accurate and efficient while assisting with a variety of operational and growth-focused projects.

THE ROLE: ADMINISTRATIVE & BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT ASSISTANT

The Administrative & Business Development Assistant is responsible for supporting the day-to-day administration of internal systems, maintaining accurate company records, assisting with finance administration, supporting worker onboarding, and contributing to business development activities through research, lead generation support and CRM management.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage and maintain data across multiple platforms including Ubeya, Google Sheets, Monday.com, Lusha, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, Gmail, DocuSign and other internal systems.
• Organise and maintain company databases to ensure information is accurate, up to date and easily accessible.
• Tidy, restructure and improve existing internal systems and documentation.
• Perform general housekeeping of company records, files and operational data.
• Ensure CRMs and databases are consistently maintained to a high standard.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and create more efficient ways of working.
• Raise and manage customer invoices and direct debits using Xero and Adfin.
• Support team members with the compliant onboarding of new workers.
• Process and accurately record authorised staff expenses.
• Monitor and manage the Accounts email inbox, ensuring invoices, supplier queries and finance-related correspondence are addressed promptly or directed appropriately.
• Assist with basic finance administration and maintain accurate financial records.
• Research prospective clients and target businesses.
• Build and maintain prospect lists using LinkedIn, Monday.com and Lusha.
• Support lead generation activities by gathering and organising relevant company and contact information.
• Maintain accurate prospect and client information within the CRM.
• Assist with business development projects as the business grows.
