SUMMARY:

A well-established organic fertiliser company is seeking the above to be responsible for managing administrative and logistical processes and providing professional support to management and sales at the Brits head office.

POSITION INFO:

Minimum requirements for the role:

Must have a National Senior Certificate; A relevant post school qualification would be advantageous
Strong, proven administrative experience preferably in an agricultural, wholesale, logistics or related environment
Reliable, dutiful, energetic and professional work ethic with high attention to detail
Proficient computer literacy, including Microsoft Office and experience with order, invoicing or similar administrative systems
Proficiency in Afrikaans and English (verbal and written)

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Executing general administrative duties, including product registrations and complete handling of all related documentation.
Receiving, processing and administering customer orders.
Issuing invoices and preparing loads/consignments for delivery.
Planning and coordinating logistical arrangements for deliveries.
Requesting and comparing quotations for packaging and placing orders with suppliers.
Managing general purchasing for office and warehouse requirements.
Performing personal assistant duties in support of management.
Issuing and following up on customer invoices and statements.
Overseeing quality-control (QC) processes for new products received.
Administering and monitoring the ERP system and related processes.
