JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking a Morning's only Admin Assistant preferably from the clearing and forwarding industry to work mornings only on a 3 month contract. This may be reviewed or extended.

Qualifications / Requirements:

  • Matric
  • Own Vehicle & Driver’s License
  • Clearing & Forwarding Admin Skills required
  • Minimum of 3 years administrative experience
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word / Excel / Microsoft Teams)
  • Excellent communication skills, good work ethics and confident disposition
  • Goal driven and a team player
  • Attention to detail
  • Able to work under pressure

Key Performance Areas:

  • Daily filing
  • Answering customer queries
  • Scanning / copying of documents
  • Collecting and delivering documents
  • Export Register update
  • Permit Register update
  • Checking of documents
  • Requesting Statements from Carriers
  • Reconcile & referencing of Invoices
  • Arrange Courier Services for Collection & Delivery
  • Data Capturing
  • Tracking of Shipments
  • Any other ad-hoc duties as required
