Admin GRN Clerk

SUMMARY:
We are currently looking for an Admin GRN Clerk who will provide administrative and goods-receiving support. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately capturing Goods Received Notes (GRNs), verifying deliveries against documentation, maintaining records, and ensuring that all receiving information is correctly processed.

POSITION INFO:

Minimum Requirements:

• Grade 12 / Matric.
• Previous experience as a GRN Clerk, Receiving Clerk, Admin Clerk, Stock Clerk, or similar role.
• At least 2-3 years' relevant administrative or goods-receiving experience within a retail warehouse environment
• Efficient with a WMS platform
• Experience working with GRN processing and stock documentation.
• Good computer literacy, particularly Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
• Experience with an ERP, stock management, or warehouse management system will be advantageous.
• Strong numerical and data-capturing skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive and accurately process Goods Received Notes (GRNs).
• Capture goods received into the relevant computer system.
• Verify delivered goods against purchase orders, invoices, delivery notes, and other documentation.
• Check quantities, product descriptions, codes, and pricing where applicable.
• Identify and report discrepancies, shortages, damages, or incorrect deliveries.
• Ensure all GRNs are accurately completed and authorised.
• Maintain accurate filing and record-keeping of GRNs and supporting documentation.
• Liaise with suppliers, warehouse staff, procurement, and finance regarding delivery discrepancies.
• Assist with stock administration and inventory-related queries.
• Perform general administrative and data-capturing duties.
• Prepare daily/weekly receiving reports when required.
• Ensure all documentation is processed within required deadlines.
• Maintain confidentiality and accuracy when handling company information.
• Provide general support to the warehouse and administration team.
• Adhere to all health and safety protocols
• Asset Maintenance- Report all non-conforming equipment immediately
• Housekeeping- Everything has a place, and everything is in place
• LPN label and scan inventory in preparation for movements
• Stock Take- Assist with preparation and unit counts as and when required
