About:

The Admin Clerk plays a vital role in the smooth day-to-day running of the branch. This includes administrative duties, coordinating stock and deliveries, customer service, and supporting both the workshop and printing departments. The ideal candidate is proactive, trustworthy, and able to handle various responsibilities with professionalism.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Administrative Support

• Process daily invoicing with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Perform daily banking and maintain financial recordkeeping.
• File all documents systematically for easy retrieval.
• Maintain and update the SABS Register accurately.
• Take minutes during weekly branch meetings.

2. Stock & Delivery Coordination

• Assist with loading stock and participating in routine stock counts.
• Schedule and coordinate deliveries efficiently.
• Ensure delivery records, PODs, and related documents are complete and accurate.

3. Customer Service

• Handle customer queries and complaints professionally and promptly.
• Assist walk-in customers and answer incoming calls.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming, and efficient shopfront environment.

4. Operational Support

• Assist the Branch Manager with daily operational tasks when needed.
• Provide backup support to workshop staff when delivery drivers are unavailable.
• Assist the printing department with basic operational requirements.

• Matric / Grade 12 essential
• Minimum 1–2 years’ experience in administration (experience in printing/manufacturing environment an advantage)
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Ability to work under pressure and multitask
• Reliable, organised, and strong attention to detail
• Must be physically capable of assisting with stock when required
