SUMMARY:
Are you experienced in the Short Term Insurance Industry where you managed all administrative functions dealing with clients, quotations and claims? We require an excellent PA/Administrator to assist a Short Term Broker who runs a busy office. Must be fluent in English and Afrikaans.

POSITION INFO:

REQUIREMENTS

Matric, own transport

Well spoken – fluent in English and Afrikaans

RE5 exam completed (KI would be advantageous but not mandatory)

CPD Points need to be up to date

ESSENTIAL to have minimum 2 years working experience in Insurance Brokerage working with Short Term Insurance

Methodical worker

Ability to use initiative and make decision

Hardworking and dedicated taking personal responsibility for duties

 

DUTIES

Handling all claims processes from beginning to end

Updating records electronic filing and diary systems to be maintained.

All Underwriting duties including new business and endorsements and renewal

Manage new quotations, sourcing from market best rates

General office administration duties including filing, stationery orders, courier collections, Diary Management

Accounting including following manual payments and debit orders.

Dealing extensively with clients on a daily basis on any queries or requests

Monthly claim and underwriting report.

Personal Assistant duties.

 

Salary: R   dependent on experience
