Accounts Receivable Administrator (12 Month Contract)

SUMMARY:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and driven Accounts Receivable Administrator for a fixed-term 12-month contract to join a leading global organisation within a dynamic Shared Services environment. POSITION INFO:
Minimum Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting or related field (preferred)
• 3–5 years’ experience in Accounts Receivable
• Strong working knowledge of Oracle (Accounts Receivable module) – essential
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and strong MS Office skills (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Experience in a shared services environment across Africa (advantageous)

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the Accounts Receivable function
• Ensure accurate and timely processing of transactions in Oracle (AR module)
• Oversee monthly close processes for Accounts Receivable, including reconciliations and postings
• Ensure accuracy of AR data impacting financial statements
• Monitor open sales orders and facilitate cancellations of closed orders and credit notes with appropriate approvals
• Liaise with the Market Transactional Manager to resolve billing queries and customer enquiries promptly
• Prepare monthly reports including Debtors age analysis ageing reports
• Unapplied receipts reports
• Provide accurate monthly financial reporting (revenue, accruals, debtor analysis, etc.)
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within the Accounts Receivable function
• Assist management with ad hoc reporting and analysis
• Maintain accurate tax and compliance-related AR records where applicable
• Ensure adherence to internal controls and external audit requirements
