About the Role

As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you'll be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments for our German entity. From verifying invoices and reconciling vendor accounts to ensuring tax compliance and collaborating across borders, this role offers a unique international finance experience—all from the heart of Cape Town.

Key Responsibilities

• Process and post invoices and credit notes

• Verify accuracy, completeness, and compliance of financial documents

• Reconcile vendor accounts and resolve discrepancies

• Prepare payments and VAT returns

• Maintain up-to-date supplier records

• Liaise with German suppliers and internal teams to manage payment queries and agreements

• Assist with month-end and year-end reporting

What You’ll Need to Succeed

• BCom in Accounting or related field

• 3+ years of experience in a similar role

• Solid knowledge of German tax laws is advantageous

• Proficient in MS Dynamics and MS Office
