Accounts Clerk – Bellville
Join a Leading Export Services Company!
Our client, based in Bellville, Cape Town, provides specialised clearing and forwarding services within the export sector. They manage high-volume, fast-paced export documentation and operational processes for perishable goods across global markets. They are now seeking a detail-driven Accounts Clerk to support their finance team with accuracy, efficiency, and excellent administrative control.

This role is ideal for someone who excels in numbers, thrives in a structured environment, and has strong experience in invoicing, reconciliations, and financial administration.

POSITION INFO:
Minimum Requirements

Matric certificate
3–4 years’ experience in a similar finance / accounts administration role
Sage accounting experience (essential)
Strong Excel skills and overall computer literacy
Bilingual in Afrikaans & English
Excellent organisational skills with high attention to detail
Willingness to work overtime when required

Key Responsibilities

Process customer statements accurately and on time
Prepare and issue customer invoices
Perform account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies
Maintain and update customer financial files and documentation
Assist with general administrative and finance-related tasks as needed
Support the finance team with ad hoc duties during peak export periods
