JOB DESCRIPTION:

Our client in Paarl is looking for a Accounts Administrator with experience in process the cashbook and creditors.

Requirements:

Matric

Relevant experience

Working experience on Pastel Evolution

Numerical strong with attention to detail

Responsibilities:

Reviewing & Reconciling of Cash Books, creditors & debtors.

The full cashbook function of the companies/cc allocated to you which includes the capturing and accurate checking of the cash receipts, voids, refunds and payments in the general ledger account in Pastel Evolution and the reconciliation of the current account to the bank statement, in an effective, responsible and accurate manner.

Reviewing /Maintaining of POS system and obtaining supporting cash up documents

Reconciliation of the petty cash control account / cash float of the Companies/cc to the Petty Cash on Hand.

The full creditors function of the companies/cc allocated to you which includes the Reconciliation of the creditors balance per the age analysis to the creditors statement for the various Stores and Wholesalers. Including the accurate matching of invoices to Goods Received Vouchers & purchase orders and ensuring that invoices due for payment are marked as such and handed to the financial accountant for payment.

Accurate make up of deposit slips for the various suppliers. Presenting Invoices due for payment to management.

Accurate Loading & Checking of payments on the Nedbank online banking system

Any administration/clerical work in the administration office and undertakes to do so in an effective, responsible and accurate manner.
