An exciting opportunity is available for an Accounts & Finance Administrator to join a dynamic and growing organisation based in JHB North.

POSITION INFO:

This role is ideal for a detail-oriented finance professional who enjoys working across accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial administration while contributing to the overall efficiency and control of the finance function.

Minimum Requirements:

Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Minimum 2–4 years' accounting experience
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes
Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Experience with ERP systems advantageous
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Controls & Reporting:

Ensure accurate VAT coding and compliance
Process general ledger allocations
Perform month-end reconciliations
Assist the Finance Manager with financial reporting
Maintain audit trails and supporting documentation
Contribute to process improvements and enhanced financial controls

Accounts Receivable Management:

Prepare and issue customer invoices
Perform debtor reconciliations
Manage collections and credit control processes
Monitor and maintain debtor ageing reports
Maintain accurate debtor records
Resolve customer billing queries efficiently

Accounts Payable Management:

Capture and process supplier invoices
Perform supplier reconciliations
Manage payment processing and payment runs
Monitor creditor ageing reports
Resolve supplier queries
Maintain accurate creditor records

Ensure accuracy across all accounts receivable and payable functions
Maintain strong financial controls and compliance standards
Support timely and reliable financial reporting
Contribute to the smooth running of the finance department
