POSITION INFO:

Job Description:

Coordinate and manage day-to-day accounting functions and processes.
Prepare financial reports, analyses, and management information.
Compile and consolidate financial reporting across multiple branches and subsidiaries.
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
Maintain and reconcile balance sheet and general ledger accounts.
Support annual audit processes and prepare audit schedules.
Investigate and resolve audit findings, account discrepancies, and compliance matters.
Prepare and assist with tax and statutory submissions.
Contribute to the enhancement of accounting systems, controls, and financial processes.
Mentor and support junior finance team members where required

Skills & Experience:

Minimum 5 years' accounting experience within the motor industry.
Strong financial reporting and consolidation experience.
Good understanding of tax legislation, IFRS, and accounting principles.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Leadership ability with experience supporting and guiding junior staff

Qualification:

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting OR Equivalent
Professional membership or designation - advantageous
