SUMMARY:
Join a fastâgrowing, techâenabled African financial services group as a Contract Accountant supporting core finance functions. You’ll contribute to systems transitions, audits, financial reporting and operational finance across a dynamic, innovative environment. This role is ideal for a handsâon, detailâdriven accountant who is immediately available and ready to hit the ground running.

POSITION INFO:

Support the accounting system transition from Xero to Oracle NetSuite
Assist with external audit closeâout preparation and documentation
Provide general accounting support across AP, reporting, analysis, taxes, compliance, budgeting and monthâend close for the FinAccs team
Support financial operations with treasury activities, business support, FP&A tasks, budgets and forecasting
Assist with financial processes, reconciliations, data reviews and system updates
Work across multiple finance workstreams, ensuring accuracy, responsiveness and timely delivery
Contribute to continuous improvement and adoption of new technologies and tools
Provide broader support to the finance department as needed during the contract period

Skills & Experience:
Immediately available and able to work onâsite in Northern Suburbs Cape Town daily
0–2 years postâarticles experience, with strong exposure to accounting functions
Working knowledge of IFRS and understanding of SA Tax principles
Experience or familiarity with Xero and Oracle NetSuite advantageous
Advanced Excel / Google Sheets capability
Strong analytical thinking, problemâsolving and deadlineâdriven execution
Ability to adapt quickly in a fastâchanging, techâcentric environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; organised and detailâfocused

Qualification:
BCom Honours in Finance/Accounting OR Equivalent
Completed SAICA articles
CA(SA) or eligible - preferred
