If you’re a technically strong accountant with completed SAICA articles and 1-2 years of post-article experience, this is your chance to join a dynamic and growing logistics and transport company! My client looking for a detail-oriented, proactive finance professional to make a real impact within our finance team.

As an Accountant, you will be responsible for the following:

Prepare and review monthly management accounts and insightful financial reports
Handle reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end processes with precision
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to drive smarter business decisions
Maintain fixed asset registers and ensure accurate depreciation schedules
Ensure compliance with IFRS and tax regulations, keeping the business audit-ready
Liaise with auditors, SARS, and other external stakeholders
Provide financial insight and support to operational teams, contributing to business growth

Qualifications and Skills:
BCom Accounting degree or equivalent
Completed SAICA articles
1 - 2 years of post-article experience in a commercial environment
Strong knowledge of IFRS and South African tax principles
Proficient in Excel and accounting systems (e.g., Sage, Pastel, or similar)
Analytical, proactive, and hands-on approach with a passion for accuracy and efficiency
