SUMMARY:
One of Africa's largest manufacturer seeks the services of a top Account Manager to join their growing team of achievers.

POSITION INFO:

Achieve agreed sales target within the assigned market segment and region.
Actively look for new customers and opportunities.
Establish, develop and maintain relationships with current and prospective customers.
Expedite and follow up on the resolution of customer queries and complaints.
Researches and keeps abreast of market conditions in the assigned sector and region.
Develop a weekly call planner and schedule appointments.
Complete and submit weekly and monthly reports (call reports, prospects, monthly sales report).
Provide after sales service to all clients.
Ensure timely completion of enquiries, quotes and tenders.
Responsible for general sales administration.
Prepare sales aids and materials (Brochure, presentations etc)
Ensure that ISO compliance is adhered to on Sales processes.
Compliance to the SHEQ code of conduct and standards.
Research, report and keep abreast of market conditions.
Investigate, report and understand the organizational structure of clients.
Keep up to date and report on competitor activity, developments and pricing.
Keep up to date with competitor product mix and service levels.

Minimum Requirements:

Grade 12 (Matric)
Sales/Marketing diploma or degree an advantage 5 years of related sales experience in the manufacturing, mining, construction sector.
Project management.
Proven track record of achieving targets
