SUMMARY:
Efficient and professional Logistics Account Executive required for the division of our progressive Logistics Group which specialises in heavy commercial vehicle logistics (including construction, agricultural, etc.). The role is situated on the East Rand and will be responsible for client liaison, logistics planning, capacity forecasting, invoicing and maintaining / growing existing customer business.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:
- Logistics planning
- Capacity forecasting
- Meet customer service delivery targets and KPIs
- Manage customer expectations
- Damage investigation and root cause analysis
- Collection and delivery scheduling
- Updating and maintenance of the Vehicle Tracking System, including tracking of vehicles
- Manage monthly billing of customers
- Understand and maintain the Company’s SOPs
- Reporting on the Company’s performance in daily / monthly meetings
- Understand and maintain customer SOPs and SLAs

Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor of Commerce in Logistics, Economics or Marketing Management
- Minimum 3 to 4 years’ experience in Key Account Management
- Excellent communication skills
- Computer literate
- Fully conversant in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Strong administrative and organizational skills
- Time management skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Willing to work outside of normal operating hours
- Willing to work away from your home depot when required
- Ability to work unsupervised
- Ability to make decisions and solve problems effectively and efficiently
- Strong self-discipline
- Meet strict deadlines with a high level of precision
