ASSISTANT WAREHOUSE MANAGER – EDENVALE (3927)

Qualifications:

• Grade 12 / equivalent

 Experience and Requirements:

• At least 2 years’ steel industry experience as an assistant Warehouse Manager
• Computer literate
• Own Transport and a valid driver’s licence is essential
• Have a stable work record and contactable references
• Of sober habits
• Physically fit and able to work on your feet
• Attention to detail
• Management skills
• Product knowledge will be an advantage (steel, pipes,and fittings)
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong people skills
• Available to work extended hours and weekends

Duties and responsibilities:

• Loading of all trucks and bakkies
• Managing pickers, planning, loading, and organising
• Receiving of goods, marking, and allocating
• Managing counter sales
• Picking of orders
• Liaising with drivers, stops and routes
• Managing the painting of products
• Ensure housekeeping is done daily
