ACCOUNTS CLERK - JHB SOUTH - CLEVELAND

SUMMARY:
Company situated in the JHB South, Cleveland area is looking for an Accounts Clerk to join the finance team and assist with the day-to-day administration of the creditors and debtor accounts.

POSITION INFO:

This role will support the finance department in ensuring that supplier accounts, invoices, payments, and related financial processes are handled accurately and on time.

This is a great opportunity for someone with a qualification in accounting or finance who is looking to gain practical experience and grow within a busy finance environment.

Minimum Requirements

 Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or similar field
 Strong attention to detail and good numerical ability
 Comfortable working with Excel and accounting systems
 Good organisational and follow-up skills

Key Responsibilities
The role will include, but not be limited to:
 Assisting with the processing of daily sundry creditor payments and ensuring these are cleared and recorded correctly.
 Managing and processing credit applications for both debtors and creditors as they are received.
 Ensuring supplier invoices are received, matched to GRNs, and followed up on where required.
 Assisting with the daily management of creditor-related tasks and outstanding items.
 Monitoring and following up on outstanding supplier orders and related documentation.
 Processing refunds and related financial adjustments when required.
 Assisting with the creditors age analysis, ensuring outstanding balances are followed up and accounts remain up to date.
 Providing general administrative support to the finance team where needed.
