ACCOUNTANT - CAMPERDOWN, KWAZULU-NATAL
POSITION INFO:
RedCat Recruitment is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced ACCOUNTANT for a well-established large concern, position based in the Camperdown area, KwaZulu-Natal.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Grade 12.
BCom Degree (majoring in Accounting and Taxation) or a Degree or Diploma in Accounting.
Valid Code 08 driver’s license / own reliable vehicle.
Person must be able to speak / read / write English competently.
Strong computer skills (MS Office, Email / Internet). Intermediate / advanced MS Excel skills.
Conceptually understands an ERP system and data warehouse functions.
5yrs+ previous working experience in a similar position.
Review and authorizing payments.
Administration of the fixed asset register.
Administration of VAT.
Administration of corporate Income tax.
Administrate monthly financial statements.
Monthly financial reports.
Year-end financial administration
Administration of financial procedures and internal control.
Duties include the day to day accounting function and providing management accounts and other reporting, including financial planning and budgeting, reporting and budget variances, cost control and cost analysis programmes.
