Are you an experienced Microsoft Cloud Engineer looking for a new challenge? Are you a rocket-scientist in Microsoft 365 administration? We are looking for a super-nerd who gets excited about all things Microsoft cloud, specifically the O365 range of platforms, to join our growing and dynamic technology team based in Manchester.

BES are implementing a cloud-first strategy that includes adoption of new digital channels for customers and staff alike. Our small but growing Cloud Engineering team are at the forefront of this transformation and the role includes architecture, operation and support across the full range of Microsoft 365 platforms. You will be working as a key player in the wider IT team delivering first-class solutions and services across our group of companies.

Key responsibilities:

• Overall technical lead for Microsoft 365 architecture and administration
• Participate in Service Design sessions where technical requirements are captured and documented by the IT Infrastructure Team
• Provide insight and guidance on Microsoft 365 technologies
• Design and implement monitoring of our Microsoft technology stack
• Develop high quality support documentation and assist with service transition of new functions
• Continually improve the Data Loss Prevention and Information Security capabilities

Key requirements:

You will not be considered for this role unless you have:

• Proven experience across the Microsoft 365 stack including:
  •  Azure AD Administration
  • Azure services, such as AAD, SSO, WVD, Intune and Conditional access
  • Office 365 compliance
  • PowerShell
  • Teams
  • Exchange Online
  • Sharepoint
  • Onedrive

Desirable requirements:

• A Microsoft 365 certification
• Experience in Windows Server administration - 2012, 2016, 2019
• Configuration and Management experience with Switches and Routers
• A knowledge of SDN and SDP
• A Batchelor’s Degree in a Computer Science related field
