ZMO 19074 - Bookkeeper (NW)

Our client is seeking a detail‑oriented and resilient Bookkeeper to manage financial records and ensure smooth accounting processes within a hospitality environment. The ideal candidate must have prior hospitality experience, a strong character, and the ability to maintain accuracy under pressure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all lodge staff payroll, preparation and reconciliation.
• Load and maintain staff details, including leave records and HR documentation.
• Assist with staff queries related to HR (payroll, leave days, etc.).
• Perform bank reconciliations and maintain cash books processing.
• Maintain and manage the general ledger function.
• Process invoices, payments and EFT requisitions.
• Conduct suppliers reconciliations and manage creditor accounts.
• Handle stock processing and verify variances.
• Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
• Prepare month end reporting and reviews.
• Liaise with internal and external auditors.
• Monitor cash flow and update weekly revenue reports.
• Oversee debtor and creditor reconciliations.
• Consolidate financial data for management reporting.
• Support cost control measures across lodge operations.
• Handle ad hoc finance administration tasks as required.
