Yard Operator PDP Driver

SUMMARY:
A global machine manufacturer is looking for a Yard Operator to join their team. Individuals who apply must have an unendorsed driver's licence of the appropriate category; and must be in possession of a professional driving permit (PDP) as required in terms of Section 32 of the NRTA

POSITION INFO:
Forms part of yard team, execute instructions in the movement of all equipment, loading, offloading and movement of machines and freight.

Accountability:

Assistant and extension to Yard team, loading and offloading and movement of machines
Obey and act on instruction to carry out and perform all tasks and responsibilities that will be issued by instruction on a day-to-day basis
Works under instruction, movement and general Yard and Maintenance Supervisor and Yard Team Leader
Assisting other members of the Logistics team in general,
General movement of office furniture

Primary Responsibilities:
Driver operator
Routine inspection
Routine mechanical maintenance and assistance

Requirements:
Matric and PDP license
Must have an unendorsed driver's licence of the appropriate category; and must be in possession of a professional driving permit as required in terms of Section 32 of the NRTA
