Ensure water supply and cleanliness remain at optimal performance levels to avoid disruptions to manufacturing processes. These services include (but not limited too) Water Treatment (OPRP) and CCP. Is responsible for the efficient operation, maintenance, and monitoring of water treatment, cooling systems, boilers, and other utility processes to ensure uninterrupted production and compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards. This role ensures that all utilities operate at optimal efficiency, minimizes downtime, and supports cost-saving initiatives while maintaining a safe and sustainable working environment. To ensure we comply and meet the Pepsi standards as per the Bev Doc.
Job Purpose
Ensure water supply and cleanliness remain at optimal performance levels to avoid disruptions to manufacturing processes. These services include (but not limited too) Water Treatment (OPRP) and CCP. Is responsible for the efficient operation, maintenance, and monitoring of water treatment, cooling systems, boilers, and other utility processes to ensure uninterrupted production and compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards. This role ensures that all utilities operate at optimal efficiency, minimizes downtime, and supports cost-saving initiatives while maintaining a safe and sustainable working environment.
Key Accountabilities and Outputs
Operating of processes
â–ªEnsure all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are in place and followed.
â–ªComplete documentation as per Quality Management System (QMS), including monitoring the purification process and maintaining accurate records.
â–ªManage waste disposal in line with company policies and environmental regulations.
â–ªOperate the Utilities department efficiently and safely, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
Level 1 maintenance
â–ªPerform Autonomous Maintenance (Level 1 – 4) as per maintenance schedules and guidelines.
â–ªConduct basic troubleshooting and preventative maintenance activities.
Cleaning in process
â–ªEnsure machine process-specific cleaning is conducted effectively.
â–ªCarry out CIP for the water treatment plant, including sand filters, carbon filter, supply tanks, and water supply lines.
â–ªMonitor and report CIP chemical usage to ensure optimal efficiency and compliance.
Fault Diagnosis and Repair, Root Cause Analysis (5Y)
â–ªManage breakdowns effectively to minimize downtime.
â–ªImprove time to detect and time to correct faults through structured troubleshooting.
â–ªConduct Root Cause Analysis (5 Whys) and implement corrective actions.
Utilities Management (Technical Responsibilities)
â–ªWater Systems: Monitor and control volume consumption of water, ensuring compliance with operational efficiency standards.
â–ªWater Treatment Parameters: Track and maintain key parameters, including incoming water pressure and system completion at 30 and 40 bar.
â–ªCooling Systems: Oversee Cooling Tower operations and chiller maintenance to ensure optimal temperature control.

Boiler Operations: Perform boiler maintenance, track outputs, and ensure pressure and efficiency compliance.

Leak & Pressure Monitoring: Identify and report leaks, abnormal pressure drops, and fluctuations in utilities systems.
â–ªChemical Management: Monitor chemical usage and levels to prevent disruptions in water and steam treatment processes.
â–ªSoftener Systems: Manage softener pressure and salt levels to maintain proper water softening.
â–ªCOâ‚‚ System Maintenance: Conduct routine COâ‚‚ maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and report performance metrics.
â–ªEnergy Efficiency Monitoring: Assist in reducing energy and utility costs by identifying inefficiencies in water and steam consumption.
â–ªEquipment Calibration & Inspections: Perform routine inspections and calibrations on water treatment and utility equipment to ensure compliance with operational and safety standards.

Qualifications and Experience
