SUMMARY:
A large and reputable Pinetown based manufacturing company is seeking a Trade tested Artisan with good working knowledge of lifting machinery and cranes to your their team as a Workshop Manager.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Qualifications:Â

Grade 12
Artisan qualification - Section 13 (Trade tested Fitter with Lifting Equipment experience)Â
Minimum 5 years experience in the Trade
Minimum 2 years Supervisory experience
Fully bilingual
General good health
Team player with high standards of performance
Play an active role in upholding of safety standards
Good interpersonal skills
Facilitating the completion of team goals
Ability to deal with conflict
Establishing courses of action for self and others to ensure that work is completely effectively and efficiently
Setting high performance standards for self and others
High technical and leadership skills
Administrative and computer literacy skills will be an advantageous
Ability to work under pressure.
The nature of the position would require a person with a high level of energy and self-motivation.

Maintenance and mounting of cranes
Quotations, Costing& Planning
Responsible for tools and equipment
