SUMMARY:
A large and reputable Pinetown based manufacturing company is seeking a Trade tested Artisan with good working knowledge of lifting machinery and cranes to your their team as a Workshop Manager.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Qualifications: 
  • Grade 12
  • Artisan qualification - Section 13 (Trade tested Fitter with Lifting Equipment experience) 
  • Minimum 5 years experience in the Trade
  • Minimum 2 years Supervisory experience
  • Fully bilingual
  • General good health
  • Team player with high standards of performance
  • Play an active role in upholding of safety standards
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Facilitating the completion of team goals
  • Ability to deal with conflict
  • Establishing courses of action for self and others to ensure that work is completely effectively and efficiently
  • Setting high performance standards for self and others
  • High technical and leadership skills
  • Administrative and computer literacy skills will be an advantageous
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • The nature of the position would require a person with a high level of energy and self-motivation.
