POSITION INFO:
Our client is a highly respected motor dealership group based in KwaZulu-Natal, known for its commitment to engineering excellence, operational efficiency, and exceptional customer satisfaction.

We are looking for an experienced Workshop Foreman to oversee daily passenger vehicle workshop operations in Pinetown. The role requires a strong technical leader who can streamline workflow, mentor technical staff, and maintain high diagnostic accuracy on premium passenger vehicles.

Responsibilties:

Oversee daily workshop operations, assigning jobs to technicians to optimize productivity and workflow.
Perform complex vehicle diagnostics, quality checks, and technical sign-offs on completed repairs.
Mentor and guide junior technicians and apprentices on advanced repair techniques.
Enforce manufacturer technical standards, warranty requirements, and health and safety compliance.
Collaborate with Service Advisors and the Workshop Manager to manage customer expectations and resolve technical escalations.

Requirements:

Qualified Automotive Technician (Trade Test Certificate).
Official Brand Certification as a Diagnostic Technician or Master Technician
Prior experience in a supervisory or workshop leadership role within a franchised dealership environment.
Comprehensive understanding of advanced vehicle electronics and diagnostic equipment.
Valid South African driver’s license.

Remuneration: Market related and dependent on experience
