Workshop Foreman

SUMMARY:
An established engineering and fabrication company is looking for a highly experienced Workshop Foreman to lead and manage production operations. This role is responsible for ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards while driving operational excellence across the workshop.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate workshop production teams to achieve project delivery targets.
• Ensure production schedules, quality requirements, and safety standards are consistently met.
• Plan and optimise workflow processes to improve productivity and minimise downtime.
• Manage daily workshop operations and ensure effective use of labour, equipment, and materials.
• Implement and maintain SHEQ compliance and safety procedures.
• Monitor budgets, labour costs, and overtime expenditure.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and operational efficiencies.
• Mentor, coach, and develop employees through ongoing training and performance management.
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure seamless project execution.

• Qualified Boilermaker.
• Minimum 10 years’ experience within a fabrication or production environment.
• Proven experience managing and leading production teams.
• Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and production metrics.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and STRUMIS.
• Strong communication and people management skills.
